A much better sounding copy than any of the SBDs or the MTX thus far, which all are way too balanced. Good show overall; I just don't like it when they
...
haste Eyes like they always did in this era.

I had a different audience recording of this show that was superior to this copy, and was definitely FOB. Never seen it circulated in the digital era though.
...
Great first set, one of my faves from this time period.

...2nite. And this AUD hints at it. Sounds like just Back Of Board, or maybe first row balcony. It's clear and clean, but rates only three stars from
...
distance. Even as a three star rate, I'd still take it over the SBD anyday. I sure would like to hear a really good FOB upgrade.
If anybody asked me to give them a killer lineup from the early 80's, this would have been it. Looks like a monster show on paper. From the stream, the intensity is pretty high so far. Great opening troica. Very nice To Lay Me Down. Lazy>Supp rips and is jammed out really well.
I sure wish they'd done Women > Iko like my Oroboros used to do in Cleveland. It's such an excellent tune. That could have been a great added duo. Oh well.
The only stumble is a very short, sloppy, too fast Truckin' clumsily transitioned into a sloppy GDTRFB. That's too bad. I think it was a pivotal but lost moment in this second set, and could have nailed everyone to the wall. Black Peter is great. The set ending is balls-E.
This has X Factor and a five star rating written all over it despite the blown Truckin'. Now, let's get that upgrade to verify it!

This one is not bad, a little cavernous sounding and a decent amount of aud. noise, but pretty clear. The show is great, a BUNCH of treats in the first
...
set, first dancin since the end of 79 and they wouldn't do it again until 84 - it's a little sloppy, but jerry pulls some cool licks out of the bag. This is one I would recommend for a stream, perhaps a download might interest AUD freaks only, but this show, especially the first set, is pretty sweet!
